Caitlin O’Connell PhD (writer, director, producer)

Caitlin is a scientist,  award-winning author, photographer and film maker. She co-developed the award-winning Smithsonian documentary “Elephant King” and has contributed content to documentary features and series distributed by National Geographic, Discovery, PBS Nature, BBC and CNN. Caitlin is currently in post on a new independent feature documentary and developing several feature movie and televisions scripts with Tim focused on delivering authentic science content in popular media. She has authored eight popular books about elephants, including an award-nominated thriller series about the ivory trade that has also been published as a comic series and is currently developing the graphic novel.
